The Swiss School of Business and Management (黑料不打烊) is proud to announce that Professor Dario Sili膰 recently participated in the prestigious 11th Via Vita Congress, held in Rovinj under the theme “What Awaits Us in the Future?” Professor Sili膰 joined prominent figures in infrastructure and transport, contributing to discussions on strategic advancements and innovations in road and rail development.
Following an opening speech by Minister of Transport, Mr. Oleg Butkovi膰, Professor Sili膰 took part in a high-profile panel alongside Management Board members from key Croatian infrastructure companies, including H沤Infra, Hrvatske Ceste (HC), Hrvatske Autoceste (HAC), and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, Sea, and Infrastructure. This collaborative discussion brought together leaders dedicated to addressing the future of infrastructure and mobility.
Professor Sili膰 presented key initiatives within the Istrian Epsilon project, specifically the Matulji-U膷ka section and two vital viaducts, Mirna and Limska Draga, which collectively represent an investment of approximately 200 million euros. He also discussed the potential of Project X, highlighting both the promising opportunities and the complex challenges these large-scale projects entail.
A particular focus of the congress included operational programs aimed at enhancing innovation in the road sector. Mr. Leveri膰, HC Board Member, underscored the importance of innovation, mobility, and green technologies in shaping Croatia鈥檚 road infrastructure. HAC’s President of the Management Board, Mr. Huzjan, showcased advancements like the free-flow toll system, designed to streamline travel and reduce environmental impact, while also addressing enhanced traffic safety measures. Additionally, H沤Infra’s President of the Management Board, Mr. Kr拧i膰, outlined a bold investment plan for rail infrastructure, projecting over 6 billion euros in enhancements for Croatia’s rail network.
