Simon Horton is a globally renowned Negotiation Skills expert, having spent 15 years teaching the subject to banks, oil companies, law firms and other professional organisations in over 20 countries across Europe, Asia and Africa. Prior to that he led a successful career in asset management, designing the derivatives trading system used by the majority of the London asset management sector. He is a Visiting Lecturer at Imperial College and the author of ‘The Leader’s Guide to Negotiation’, published by The Financial Times. Clients include ExxonMobil, Adidas, Panasonic, GlaxoSmithKline, HM British Army and many more.

AML Compliance – mystery or not?

What is actually money laundering? How does it affect me and my job? Why is it so important, that is widely mentioned in the media? And terrorism financing – what do I have with that? Those and many other questions are to be answered after finishing the class of Anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing.

About the lecturer: Goran Sirovec

Mr. Sirovec is a Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS) with almost 15 years of experience in AML/CFT compliance. He gained his experience both in public (serving as Deputy Head of FIU Croatia), and private sector (as Senior Manager Eastern Europe in USA-based leading global money service business company). Prior to switch to the compliance-world, worked for 5 years in the Ministry of Finance – Tax Administration as Senior Adviser in Department for the avoidance of double taxation.

MBA Scholarships Awarded, Zagreb 2019

The scholarship process of the Swiss School of Business and Management (��ϲ��) has officially ended on 15.08.2019.

Over 100 applications received

Due to the great interest of the Croatian and international business community, where over 100 candidates submitted their applications, 20 candidates were selected for the second round of the competition.

Some of the criteria that was used during the selection process was the applicants’ motivation, work experience, leadership potential, ethics and creativity.

��ϲ�� is proud to announce that the following candidates were awarded with the scholarship and will be participating in the MBA program starting from November 2019 in collaboration with Deloitte: Ines B. (OTP Bank), Jelena P. (INA), Josip T. (Korean Air), Adam H. (Johnson & Johnson), Mario R. (IKEA), Martina D. (A1 Telecom), Antonio A. (Petrokemija), Ivor F. (Addiko Bank), Lidija V. Finally, all participants of the MBA program will also become part of the alumni network of the MBA Croatia Club, which will contribute to networking and meeting colleagues from similar but also different fields, as diversity of scholarship was also one of the criteria.
